Balancing postures build nervous stability and will help with insomnia. The practice of “Tratak” – steady gazing at an object ( eg a candle flame –sit & keep the flame at eye level) without moving the eyeballs and minimal blinking of eyes for a length of time ( for about 15 minutes, before going to bed) is a very strong practice in counteracting insomnia.
